How to date a Ruger pistol ??????

Have a Mk II ser #18-200xx. Unsure how old it is.

An X is still an X with a Quarter Inch group at 100 yards
With a Quarter Inch Group on the keyboard an X could be - Z,S,D, or C.

Wilson's "Ruger & His Guns" places that number in 1982, during the first year of production.
