Looking for Pictures of Damaged Guns

A reader for my website recently requested an article on examining guns for damage, and I thought it was a good idea.

I want to put together some common examples of damage that can make a gun unsafe to fire.

Things like cracked or mushroomed bolt lugs, cracks in breech face, bulged barrels, receiver cracks, any other kind of damage that presents a clear safety danger.

To be clear, I'm not looking for catastrophic failures as much as I am early indicators of damage that would tell somebody they need to take their gun to a gunsmith or return it for warranty.

If anybody has pictures that they have permission to use (such as a gun of your own or a picture of somebody else's gun that you took) I'd appreciate any sharing.

Thank you
