Three Cheers for Smith & Wesson
I bought a Thompson Center rifle, and I got a $75 rebate. I put the rebate card in a place where I was positive I would not lose it. Then I went to look for it. It was gone.
I looked for the card for weeks. Finally, I called S&W (parent company) to see what they would do for me. I figured they would tell me they would replace it for a hefty fee, and that it would be a waste of time because I called right before the expiration date. Lo and behold, they said they would send me a new card, and they're not charging me a dime. I did everything I could to screw this up, and they really took care of me. Thought they deserved a public commendation. |

Nice! I always like it when gun companies take care of their customers.

Unfortunately, I plan to use the rebate to buy a Colt.

Now my conscience is bothering me. I'll email them and tell them after I get the replacement card.
