BDM Conversion

Can anyone tell me if a Browning Hi Power Barrel will fit to a BDM?

I believe the BDM uses a sig-style locking lugs, unlike the hi-power which uses 1911-style locking lugs.

rixret- What exactly are you trying to do? Do you need a replacement BDM barrel?

I should have been clear in the beginning with this. I would like to know if the 9mm BDM can be converted to a .40 by just the barrel swap out. Or do you need the .40 slide as well.

The 9x19 and 40 S&W cartridges have different diameter case rims; you'll need the slide with appropriate breechface for each.

You know, that's what I thought, but I guess I just had to hear it from someone else. Just some weird idea I had. Thanks everyone for setting me straight on this one.
