AA#5 with 124gr in 9mm what's your load?

Just bought some AA5 and I have plenty of 124 and 115 rainier, how much powder and what is the OAL?

AA website list the 124 between 4.9 and 5.4 with 1.100 length.

Speer 13 list a 124 between 5.8 and 6.5 does list a OAL for this bullet.

I read somewhere that #5 does better at the top end.

So, I loaded 5.4 grs under a 124 at 1.126 with Rainier, I had 16 Berry's so I loaded them also with same charge but the OAL came out to 1.130 with out changing anything. (I'm not sure why it did that). Haven't shoot any yet.

Thanks for your help!

THOUGHTS

OAL using Rainier 124g TCJ-RN 1.145-1.165"; I use 1.155".

AA5; I don't use, but you might start at the Accurate mid-max and if UNSATISFIED with performance work up SLOW using .2g increments.

First, you figure out what you want your load to do................

Accurate data is good source for beginning.

I load 5. gr AA5 and the 124 gr RN from Rainier or Barry's with an OAL of 1.150..This is a mild shooting accurate load..I shoot this load in several 9mm's for pleasure and fun..
