Zeiss Z-plex 3x9-40 conquest
I just ordered one of the Zeiss scopes. I had the occasion to look through one at the range a good while back but I remember that it was extremely bright and clear at 100 yards. I have been reading about them now and finally took the plunge. They were $399.99 at Midway and went up to $499.99 but are on sale now for $399.99 again so I ordered one. I have read nothing but good reviews on them. Do any of you have experience with them?

I bought one last year and put it on a Vanguard S2 in 243 Winchester. My only complaint is the plastic caps for windage and elevation adjustment. Other than that I think it is a very nice scope. Holds zero throughout it's magnification range, is very bright and clear. I was looking at buying a Nikon for the rifle but got the same deal you are at Midway, I think you'll be very happy.

A great scope. I doubt if you will fine a clearer scope for the money. They are a little big and heavier than I'd prefer.

Great glass
I bought one last year in a 3.5-10x44 and love it. I have the Z-plex too, I used it last year as it came with the hunting turrets and just did the zero at 200 so anything out to 300 I could just aim center mass and hit M.O.J (minute of jerky). GREAT light transmission...I think it's the best scope available in that price range.

Got the Zeiss, got it mounted and tried it out at the range. I have never had a scope that responded so positively to adjustments as this one does. So far I love it.
