Synthetic Stocks

My question is what to clean them with? My Stevens stock is sticky to the touch. What can I clean it with to get rid of the sticky feeling?
Thanks in advance for any help.

Sticky from what ??

( soap and water.../ simple green and water ) ... I wouldn't use acetone or anything like that on a synthetic stock...but solvents like "Shooters Choice choke and shotgun cleaner" have never hurt the one synthetic stock I have on my Benelli Super Sport ...

You could also try windex or similar as well. I'd stay away from anything that might damage plastic as Jim was saying.

You should always test cleaners in a unabtrusive area.
Have you asked Stevens for that ?
