Bow Hunting Success

Gentleman & Ladies;

I have to share....Last Friday I went bow hunting. I am in East Texas and was hunting public land on Wright Pattman Lake. The weather was miserable for hunting, hot, humid, and there were 1X10 to the 23rd mosquitoes with a few yards radius.

I had been in class all day working on my thesis for my MS and was really not in the mood to hunt, but a close friend talked me into it.

I climbed a tree with my climber, and had been in the tree for about 20 minutes when I saw my deer. A gorgeous 8 point. I shot him at 12 yards with my bow.

Great hunt, but I must give my friend all the credit, he scouted the area and showed me the spot.

Thanks for allowing me to share.

Thanks. The excitement level when bow hunting is amazing. It really was an incredible hunt.

That is outstanding - nice to have your patience in miserable conditions rewarded like that. I'm off to bowhunt for whitetails & turkey in 1 hour.
