FEG 32 ACP mag will hold 380s. Normal?

A FEG AP-MBP 32 has a mag which will also hold 380 ACP rounds.

Is this normal, or do I have a 32 with a 380 mag?

I think that the 32's were sold with 380 magazines. I don't know if that's how they were designed, but I've owned two, and they both came with 380 magazines. That being said, they function just fine - with European ammo. If you love jams, try Winchester White Box with them.

They are nice little pistols. I really like their balance, and they point very well. My FiL talked me out of my first one, so I bought another. They were only about $200 apiece.

Thanks. Seeing how many of these are police trade-ins, they must be reliable. I'm surprised.

Most European guns that were available in both calibers used .380 magazines.

What Bill said, Star did not mark magazines as to caliber for the .380/.32 offerings, Llama marked theirs until the last few years but they are interchangeable.

Bill is correct. The only exception I can think of is the Beretta M1934/35 where Beretta chose to use a thinner framed mag for the 7,65mm cal. version.

Thanks for all the input. I was concerned with how the 32s could point a little left or right while in the mag.
