I loaded hundreds of .357 Magnum rounds in the mid-60's with a Lee Loader. They all went bang at the appropriate time.

I chuckled, but I guess I like and take reloading too seriously. The Lee Loader is a fine tool, sort of like the old timey gunsmith tools. I take good tools seriously. Otherwise it was kind of funny. I was surprised he wasn't ssmoking and watching TV too!

Video is okay.

Lee Loader is a decent working dealio. Cheap, portable, and effective.

Benchrest loading can be done that way--fancy dies + arbor press. Leave out the press and use a nice mallet, same effect. Think.

edit:
oh crap-I started thinking (star trek alert sound)

The Lee Loader would be great way to introduce new folks to loading for you folks who shoot on public ranges. Take a one gun and one piece of brass to the bench. Shoot RE-load and shoot again. Guaranteed to get some attention. It's also a pressure testing technique favored by some gun writers.
