7.5MM Swiss load
Does anyone know of a load for 7.5x55mm Swiss using a 165gr Sierra Gameking SBT and Benchrest powder? I've seen loadings using a 168gr Nosler Silvertip, but not the Gameking.

Your 168 grain data is close enough for starters.

Is Norma the only maker of 7.5x55 new unloaded brass for the K31?
what is a good place to purchase some surplus ammo.

Graf & Sons has brass made for them much cheaper than Norma, but the supply is intermittent. Many reloaders use .284 brass.

The .284 Winchester brass is resized before used in Swiss rifles.
Apparently, it is a bit thicker (longer lasting, perhaps) than the other new cases, available in the U.S. Some prefer the new Redding dies for sizing, etc. for K31 rifles due to the modern design and compatibility with the K31. Not sure when Redding changed to this die design, so watch out older Redding dies in this caliber, some are going to be a different size, and design from the newer Reddings. When in doubt, email or call Redding for those answers. I'm using new brass from Grafs at the moment. Those cases have been in the closet since last fall. I've also got new .284 Winchester that I'll be resizing soon for K31 use. |

I just bought Norma, since Grafs was out of stock at the time. I'll have to look into using .284 brass. I use Lee dies, will it be a problem resizing with these, or should I only use Redding dies for this?

Lee dies work fine for forming .284Win for use in 7.5 Swiss. That's what I use.
