E. N. Santa Barbara Spain
I got my first cap and ball gun in a trade.
I was looking to find out more information on it and if there's a place I can eventually buy spare cylinders if needed. I was told this gun was only fired three times. It's like brand new. Can this be moved to the black powder section please? Last edited by Kabguitar; August 23, 2016 at 10:43 AM. |

Good guns. Excellent material. Used as match shooters in many places.

There is a new website online www.santa-barbara-1858.org from Germany.
Currently the data posted are in German only. These pards wish to research the history of the Spanish Remmies aka Santa Barbara with the shooters and collectors in mind. The driver of the project goes by the alias of Macgloy. Macgloy writes German and English. You can reach him at [email protected] Long Johns Wolf aka Bootsie |

Good guns that have been out of production for many years. Check around to see if original parts will fit or not.

Parts made to fit the original Colt guns, Dixie Gun Works and some others offer parts made for the originals. Many parts of the modern (2007+) Uberti 1858 fit the original, including the cylinder for example.

Yes, and S & S Firearms in New York does too.
