Looking for a deal on Uberti...
I recently purchased a Uberti Cattleman for $450. I love the gun, and thought I got it for a decent price, but then I was browsing the Handgun Database here on TFL and saw that it has a listed asking price of $300 (http://www.genitron.com/HandgunDB/nfdetails.asp?ID=1701!
Did I pay too much for mine!? Does anyone know where (online or otherwise) I can find Ubertis for a price closer to the $300 mark? Thanks! -bennadatto |

Up until a couple months ago, the Cattleman Hombre (matte finish) was selling at Sportsman's Warehouse for $269. It has since jumped to $359, IIRC.

It's the euro
Ahh sometimes the world economy bites ya in the backside.
Haven't checked lately but last I heard the Euro was worth 1.50. Italy is on the Euro. Thus the increase in price. If Ruger still made the Old Army it would be more competitive with the Italians at this point. I wonder if they thought about that? I think the ROA was discontinued pretty recently.
