Thompson Center Encore Pro Hunter

I recently bought a 300 win mag TC Encore Pro Hunter. I put a Burris Black Diamond 4x16x50 with a 30mm tube on it. The scope is simply too far back on the gun. The weaver style base that I have on it is approximatly 4.75" long. It needs to be at least 5-6" long. Do you have any recommendations on how to fix this problem. I now have scope eye!

Sorry to hear about your incident. while I haven't had any problems with scope mounting on any of my barrels perhaps your new scope has limited eye relief..

Both are great places for TC parts and are very well known for their work

Hope this helps.
