I have the little .380 mini copy of the 1911, the IIIa. Its a fun little gun and is reliable and reasonbly accurate.

I've read at link above Skans. Good choice (Glock), definitely. But SIG handguns are fine and exclusive. Elite of ultimate firearms. Buy it. (Much expensive, I know)...

By the way, Giorgio, the Llama .45 that I was refering to was not the same as the one in the picture you posted. The ones I was refering to were most likely produced in the late '70s. It was very crudely finished and was all blued.

I have my dad's old Llama, one he bought back in the 70s I think.
He shot the wheels off of it, factory and his own reloads, who knows how many rounds. It always performed for him, and since I've had it the last few years, i'v probably only put a couple hundred rounds through it, but it's holding up very well. The only problem I've had with it is the grip screws seem to be a tad long or else they are pulling through the grips and drag on the mag. |

I just sold my llama 1911 after owning it for 5 years. Never had a single problem with it and was a great gun!

My son hasn't returned my IX-A .45acp, but he takes it out every so often and states it still shoots reliably and acurately. Can't complain...

Those who want to know the year of a Spanish handgun manufacture should look here: http://www.star-firearms.com/firearms/proof.shtml
Mine is J2 = 1990
