Carry on campus
I dont know if this has been posted before but I just read in Stars and Stripes that TX is starting legislation to allow concealed carry on a college campus. I think its about time responsible citizens get more freedom to defend themselves. Hopefully more states follow suite.
I havent searched for a link to a story but Ill post one when I get some more time here. EDIT:Thanks for the move. I wasnt even sure we had a legal section on here Last edited by tostado22; March 20, 2011 at 09:08 PM. |

If you go to http://www.texaschlforum.com/viewforum.php?f=70
you can find a discussion and links to TX organizations involved in the issue. We are holding our breath as there is subltety - the bills made it through the Senate and a House committee but they have to be put on the House calendar. That is the usual blockage point by so-called conservatives, bowing to pressure and business interests, to keep it from passage. Little bit of trickey there. The bills could have been put on a fast track and that was suggested by the TSRA but Coyote Killin' Perry didn't do that. He did put other issues on it. Hmm? He does support the bills.
