Displaying images with "IMG" after we upload...
I can't get it to work... though I can see other posts images fine. Am I missing some setting somewhere?

Unless there's some new voodoo in vBull 3, you can't do it that way. Uploaded images show as a link in your post, members have to click on it to get it to load.
The images you see in other posts are hosted on the 'net. That's different than an image file uploaded to TFL. Hope this helps! -Dave

Have y'all played with allowing image uploads to display, but displaying them as thumbnails before they're clicked on? Seems like one of the nicer features of vB 3 (dont' know yet as I've still got to go through the vB3 upgrade again...)

I guess that that rules out Avatars for a while.

Avatars are a separate issue. Easily turned on.
Not likely to happen. They're cute; they're clutter. We don't like cute. We don't like clutter. We'd prefer that you personalize your profile by the way you post; what you say; how people think of you. Rich

I wildcat a few small cartridges (25ACP and 5.7x28 based)...So I may differ with your opinion of "cute".
But I can completely agree with the opinion on "clutter". My "standard" avatar is just an iconic representation of my first wildcat cartridge - 22 Epperson Cricket http://outcast.homeunix.org/uploads/AK3.gif
