Where to find info?

I have googled and come up empty. I just want to read up on how a "tipping bolt " functions. I can see and understand how a bolt action rifle closes and secures, just curious as to how this bolt functions????????

Try "SVT 40 action", or "FN-FAL action" as a search item. They both have a similar tipping bolt system. Also try "tilting bolt"

Basically the bolt's face is a couple of degrees off true & the bolt has cams that move it up or down when it locks. There is a "locking recess" in the receiver & a matching face on the bolt. When the bolt closes it is cammed vertically into the matching recess by tilting, hence the name.
