tumbler media????
ok just wrote this and the flippin spell check add on deleted it
I was thinking about finding something more abrasive and maybe faster than walnut the key is i am a tight a** so forget any fancy ceramics I was thinking about something along the lines of sandblasting media or even that little kid sand sifted out and thrown int the tumbler I'm not looking for pretty just looking for faster and cleaner maybe its a stupid idea but i am sure someone out there might have a better one any help thanks BO

Not sure why you would want something more abrasive in order to simply save time. That's not real good on your brass--the number one expense in reloading.
Be cheaper to buy a second tumbler, let them both run overnight while you're asleep or while you're away at work. I set the timer on my tumbler at night, let the brass tumble in the treated walnut. Take it out in the morning, put it in the untreated walnut and let it tumble for a few hours while I'm at work. When I get home, I've got brass that looks cleaner than new factory brass. Jeff

Think liquid. IOSSO is one brand. Follow instructions. Takes 20-30 seconds. Then you have to rinse and dry in low temp oven. Maybe total of 20-30 minutes.
Maybe that's not quick enough. |

You want really cheap??? try putting a cap full of mineral spirits in with your media....works great and is faster.
