I never really kept count as my "collection" , really more of an accumulation, ebbs and flows as my wallet allows. Right now I have around twenty and the two favorites are these recently purchased NIB Smiths form the late 70's.

Model 29-2 on the left, Model 57 on the right.

Only 4 sig p210s? you call that a collection?

Ha!

Yeah, the Sig P210 is one of my favorite 9mms of all time, along with the Browning Hi-Power and Smith & Wesson 952.

The Browning Hi-Power is favorite 9mm overall though.

i would like to see your revolver collection bac1023!
Yeah, I need to take a family pic or two of them.

I'm fortunate enough to own dozens of high quality revolvers. Overall, I enjoy classic Smith & Wessons the most, but I also love high end European revolvers from Korth, Manurhin, etc.

If I had to pick one favorite revolver, it would have to be the Colt Python. I've got several in my collection.

Nice Pythons.

Do you have any pre war or antique S&Ws? Which S&W model is your favorite?

I do appreciate your collection, because a lot of it (from other threads) was stuff that's somewhat unique. I know I never heard of a number of the guns you have.

I like the rare stuff you don't see everyday or don't ever see, really.

I don't really collect anything pre WWII.

My oldest Smith is this Target Masterpiece from the mid 1950's.

Pythons?

Are they really worth the $2000+ asking price or is it just the frenzy price right now? i would love to own a 4 inch barrel in blue!

You don't need to pay $2000 for a nice 4" blued Python. They generally sell for the least, because they are the most common.

They are also my favorite.

This one was built in 1971.

Bac....very impressive collection, looking to see what you don't have. Didn't see a S&W 41, 46, or a Boberg, other than that you have most of the bases covered.

Thanks. There's quite a bit I don't have, actually. I have a very nice 1950's model 41 on hold at my local shop, but I need several others.

The Browning BDM comes to mind.

On the flip side, there are a few autos I've picked up recently that are not pictured as well.

OK on a (we hope) anonymous web site, but it is generally not a good idea to brag about having a lot of guns, or sometimes any guns at all. Gun owners are in the peculiar position of being in danger from crooks who want to steal guns and cops who want to confiscate them. The end result for the gun owner is the same, and the danger is as great, because both crooks and cops are liable to burst in, shooting to kill.
Kind of a buzzkill but I agree with you 100%.

bac, very much enjoying the photos of your collection. You have some beautiful pieces in there.

I have an apparently modest collection of 10 guns, but my favorite is my Colt Government Pocketlite .380. Still the best shooter I've ever owned.

I have a bit of a soft spot for 1911s and although only own one cheap one right now, I suspect I will own many more in the future. I would love to get my hands on some of the nicer Colt 1911s from a few years back, but thus far they have been too expensive for me to justify the cost.

Wow! Bac1023...just stunned! I only have seven, All S&W except for a lone Hi-Power. I still have more S&W 3rd Gens that I'm trying to find, but they are getting harder & harder to find.

I started out thinking it would be cool to brag on my collection, but bac1023 trashed that dream. Then I started thinking that the first place Uncle would be looking for information like that would be on ... a gun forum! So I'll just have to say that, sadly, my guns are all at the bottom of Lake Travis after an ill-fated fishing trip. Now I just yell and try to hurt the BG's feelings ...
