M1/M1 Carbine sling length?
Anyone know if the fabric Springfield Garand sling is longer then the fabric carbine sling and how much differance there is?

I don't have the dimensions, but you can't use a Garand sling on a carbine.
For one thing, the carbine sling has fit through the oiler slot in the stock.
