Quick M4 Light Attachment
Howdy folks,
I'm looking for a quick and easy way to attach/detach a light to an M4 without rails. I'm working the midnight shift and would like to attach a light to my rifle. But I check it in and out of the armory, so need to remove it at the end of shift. The railed rifles we have are noticeably heavier, so I'd like to stick to one with the standard handguard. Is there anything out there that might clamp to the barrel or bayonet lug?

I have the Mossie Midnight Mount on a couple rifles and like it. It attaches to a standard front sight base and only weighs about an ounce. This version uses the Glock style attachment so you can move the light from M4 to pistol.
