Adding Screw-in Choke to a 18" 870 Barrel

I purchased a 870 Tactical model (6+1) from Big 5 a few months ago basically for HD / SD. After joining a few shotgun related forums, I modified my gun by adding a Choate® Pistol Grip Stock, AIMTECH scope mount and a Bushnell Red Dot scope, along with a flashlight with mount.

I would like to use this gun for local hunting also and have thought about adding Rem chokes to the stock 18" barrel - an extended choke for turkey and a rifled extended choke for slugs. Does this make sense? I don't want to buy another barrel,

Have a Deluxe polychoke installed on it. Makes a very wicked looking tactical weapon. Plus, you have all the chokes you will ever need in place. Just a twist of the wrist and you have from extra to full cylinder. Costs around $100-125.00. Beats the heck out of the screw-ins. I just don't have the paience to fool with them.

Have you ever seen a photo of a tactical shotgun with a Poly on it? It makes it look even more like a tactical gun. Plus, he can go turkey hunting, bird hunting, or scaring the heck out of bad guys. I really think they look cool.

I can't find it now, but some time ago, someone posted a photo of his pump tactical with a Poly on it. He was quite proud of it and it's looks. All my guns have Polychokes on them, including my HD weapon.
