"light" geese
Have returned to the Midwest. The local "goose blaster" went past my house on the way to the 60 acres of waterfowl swamp down the road a ways. He may be getting ready to set up soon.

"light geese"==snows and blues They do occasionally shoot when I can see the muzzle flashes from my house if that's what you mean. |

I suspect they were trying to pump the water from their flooded pit blind in preparation for a morning hunt.
