25 GPC keeps on impressing.

Some may have my earlier thread about the new wildcat from MDWS. Well I won't bore you with all the data but it's essentially a 250 Savage in a AR-15.

Accuracy has been good, reliability has been excellent, and the barrel just continues to impress. I have over 150 rounds through the barrel now and it's not shot anythi g bad but it definitely LOVES the Sierra 90 grain HPBT. I plan to shoot some heavier 100grain bullets next and find a super accurate laid for them too.

Here is the 3 patches I pushed through the barrel after exactly 150 rounds. And the other 2 are groups shot today.

That’s a solid performance right off the bat! Can’t wait to see the results after the barrel settles in and you tweak the loads!

After approximately 180 rounds of say the barrel is "broke in" and settled I've definitely got a load with the Sierra 90's, I'll reshoot the 85 Noslers and make sure I can repeat that. I'll be working on 100 grain bullets next.
