I bought an adjustable powder measure from the same vendor where I got the flint. After having a bunch of oldtimers at both shows look at this "wallhanger", they all pretty much agree that it is a restocked and modified Brown Bess, 3rd pattern.

I also found my digital caliper set, and it does measure right at a 9 gauge.
