I'm new to this gun and have heard and read very good things about it along with the CZ-75. Unfortunately in my area Brownings are few and far between and NO dealer around here has a CZ-75.

So my question is this. Which clone of either one comes the closest (sp) to them. I'm more interested in the internals rather than the external appearance of either gun. How interchangeable are the parts of different clones?

Thanks for the time you took to answer my questions.

Pete

About the Browning HP : I think the copies made by FEG in Hungary are the closest to the originals. Most parts are interchangeble with the original.
Argentine made copies are exact clones of the original.
For the CZ : Tangfoglio in Italy.
I think FEG, Tangfoglio are imported into the US.
I hope this can help.

The most common CZ-75 clone is the EAA Witness (made by Tangoglio?) which has an excellent reputation.
