What is your opinion?? And what is the going price right now??? Are Ramline Hi-Caps any good? Thanks in advance. |

Butler Creek Hot Lips are about the best!
They are the only ones I buy. Expect to pay around $35 to $40+ for 'em though. |

BC's are the only aftermarket ones I use. A friend and I have tried pretty much all of the ones out there now and in the past. The BC hotlips rule, at least in MY Rugers. The only bad point about the BCHLs are the sharp portions of the lips that hold the rounds in. When you shove rounds into the mag, these sharp corners have a tendency to dig into your thumb. By the time you're done shooting your thumb will be pretty beatup and slightly shredded if not bleeding.
The Ramlines we've tried were slightly above average. We could go through a full 50 (and 25) round mag without a hitch but the next one might choke on a round or 3. - Ron V. ------------------ |

In my neck of the country, whatever the brand, they seem to be selling for about $2 per round capacity.
Boy am I glad I bought a bunch for $15 each when I did. |
