Hornady LNL in 45 auto shell plate advice

If you run a Hornady LNL ap in 45 auto, do you use s #1 or #45 shell plate? It you started with a #1, did something make you switch?

That is new. #1 covered them all for years.

I loaded .45 ACP with the #1 shellplate for years with minor, but annoying, ejection issues (binding) from time to time. Tried the #45 and the problem disappeared.

Back when I had a Hornady LNL-AP, I had to switch to a 45 plate because I was getting high primers. With the 45, I still had them, just not as often.

I just found out about the #45 shellplate... I've been using the #1 for... uh... 25 years in my ProJector.

I was getting high primers with .41 Mag (only) for some reason, I readjusted the primer ram and now everything seems fine.

Same boat as FlyFish, bought the #45 plate when the #1 annoyed me too much.
