Help CA get Shall Issue

Hey folks, I need some help with an important bill that's being considered in CA. As you're aware, CA has some nasty anti gun leanings and because of that messes with a lot of things nationally and sends its bad ideas elsewhere, so it's in your interests to help out in reversing this. There is a bill to correct a lot of this by implementing Shall Issue CCW law in CA, making right to carry accessible for all legally qualified citizens in the state, not just the 20-30% living outside the city areas plus the .001% richest, politically connected, and elected officials (or those who are all 3). Imagine having CA totally turned around--no more Pelosi, Feinstein, et al.! This is the biggest and more important step to getting that done, as well as standing up for the rights of all to have access to the right of self defense.

It's in committee, so I'm simply asking if you can help out by taking maybe 5 to 10 minutes total to call these folks' offices and tell them to vote YES for AB 357 (Interesting name, don't you think?): (And/or mail and fax if you can and have the time)

This is a very important bill to me. But, while I push for It I am doubtful it will be able to pass. I will continue calling reps and writing letters but I dont think it will get the support it needs in our beautiful anti gun state

I'll call.... again. Stopped sending emails and web-forms because, while some used to have staffers respond to my messages, all of my reps now ignore me. ... kinda like here.

While writing long hand is very difficult for me, I manage to get a letter out every month or so.

You might want to point out that there is a good chance that Heller is going to eventually force their hand and that it might be in their best interest to deal with that legal gorrilla proactively.

Heller is completely silent on the issue of carrying of firearms on one's person.

Note the use of the word "eventually" in my post.

Heller is spawning all kinds of things.

Done. I will get my sister and her husband, who live in Twentynine palms, to call also.

They responded? I wrote several letters to several CA state reps and senators, including my own, on a couple of issues when I was still paying taxes there. Never got one reply. So I switched my residency to Texas and now they don't get to borrow my money anymore.

Maybe it was because all of my correspondence had California Rifle and Pistol Association address labels on them...

Yes.... never once with what I wanted to hear, but they did respond directly to my messages. Feinstein, Boxer, Miller, the Gropenator and several state legislators have all responded at some point, but no longer. I don't know why, I use cute little Trout Unlimited return address labels!
