Inexpensive rifle light?

I know that the words "inexpensive" and "rifle" usually don't go together well.

I'm looking for a light in the $50 range to mount on my AR15. I've seen both Surefire and Streamlight lights in that price range listed as "tactical" flashlights, but I don't know how they'd hold up to the recoil.

I have a Streamlight PolyTac mounted on a shotgun and it has held up so far. Its half the price of the G2 and rated slightly brighter.

The polytac looks interesting.

That light and this mount together cost less than the G2 alone...

Go to autozone or even walmart.

They have ~$5 pushbutton LED flashlights.

Takes AAA batteries and not some weird expensive one.

Mounts in a 1" scope ring.

I have one on my AR. Works as good as any of the overpriced stuff already mentioned.
