Inexpensive rifle light?
I know that the words "inexpensive" and "rifle" usually don't go together well.
I'm looking for a light in the $50 range to mount on my AR15. I've seen both Surefire and Streamlight lights in that price range listed as "tactical" flashlights, but I don't know how they'd hold up to the recoil. |

I have a Streamlight PolyTac mounted on a shotgun and it has held up so far. Its half the price of the G2 and rated slightly brighter.

Go to autozone or even walmart.
They have ~$5 pushbutton LED flashlights. Takes AAA batteries and not some weird expensive one. Mounts in a 1" scope ring. I have one on my AR. Works as good as any of the overpriced stuff already mentioned. |
