My New 1858 & Rig

I just receive my new belt & holster from IDAHOMIKE yesterday, what a nice man.

Pro's

I am happy with his work and great customer service. The holster fit my 1858
perfect and the belt fit my waist perfect. I told him that I wanted it in a dark brown color and he hit that color perfect. I am very happy with the color. The delivery time was very fast (2 weeks) and the price was a steal with delivery included in his price.

Con's

The first one is minor to me for this type of rig. If you are picky the finish is not as refined as others that I have.

The second is the belt is a little flimsy, single layer. I would like to have a thicker and stiffer belt and pay more for it. If the belt was thicker it would be a $300 dollar rig.

Here are some pictures that don't do the color justice.

Thanks Mike.

Thanks Beagle, I think he hit the perfect dark brown color. It almost looks like it has some black in it.

That looks great, I thought with the way you were dissin' it, that it would look terrible. Pics, make a difference.

I have one of Mikes rigs for my 1851's and love it, but I have to say the belt on mine is just fine.
