Ponsness Warren 375 setup
Just mounting a couple of 375's I bought used and then refurbished.
The manual says to mount the press 6 inches from the edge of the bench. I've done that for one already and it doesn't feel ergonomically right. Before I start drilling more holes in the bench anyone have suggestions for "proper" placement. Thanks |

I have one of their press that I used for rifles and it's same press they use for shotgun. The press I have base stops under the handle so it has stop for the handle. I guess the 6" back is stop for the handle. You might call them see if there was a stop for that handle

You might be right. At 6 inches from edge of bench the handle stops with the links all vertical.
No part in the exploded drawings specifically as a handle stop. Will move it forward for better ergonomics. If camming over centre is a problem I can always place an adjustable stop in one of the spare turret positions. |

The press I have is for rifle/pistol and it's different handle then what's on for shotgun press . You have 375 but them make 200 for rifle which has different handle.
https://www.reloaders.com/collection...al-matic-p-200 The handle you have is straight so handle stops based on being 6" back. I had a Mec when I loaded shotgun so have no idea on the shotgun press 375. If your loading shot gun may not be problem. If your using rifle/pistol may want to do something different like you posted.
