picture posting issues
I have been having posting pictures lately.
I haven't had problems in the past. I am doing it the same way as before, clicking on the picture button and pasting the link to the picture where it is hosted at [ Img]http://pic host and filename[ / img] Instead of picture posting I get something that looks like a picture icon, but no image. I could use some help with this. See the picture post thread in the test area as well. Thanks. Last edited by surveyor; March 31, 2017 at 11:36 AM. |

Are you sure you're using the proper link generated by Photobucket? Your links include the string: "Mobile%20Uploads". I don't think that is normal for a link to a regular jpg image. See what other link types are available at Photobucket.
As you can see in my test post in the testing forum, the URL works, but I'm getting the same result as you for the image string. |

I tried 2 without the %20 mobile uploads directory as well but those don't show either.
I am pasting the direct link to pictures generated in photobucket. Between the [IMG] ******* [/IMG] tags. Thanks for looking at it. Last edited by surveyor; March 31, 2017 at 03:35 PM. |

From Zoomie's post.
So your URLs from the Direct link all start with "i". Paste that URL into the Insert Image dialogue as you've been doing, but then change that "i" to a "s". Note: this is for photobucket links This works. Thanks Zoomie. Last edited by surveyor; April 2, 2017 at 03:23 PM. |

I was also able to do it the original way you were OP in the past, but have been having problems doing it lately also. I used the advice given and was able to at least get them posted through a link.
