Marlin 795
Just bought yesterday a Marlin 795. Now i would like to know from those with experience in this rifle what i can do to make it better.
Which online retailer is good for getting aftermarket parts like, mags, bipod, triggers, stocks, etc. That kind of stuff. I want ti start looking into it already so i know in advance!!! Thanks |

Accuracy and reliabilty wise, a bolt workover by Que.
A lot less accessories than the 10/22, but I really like mine just the same. I put a Harris Bi-pod on my 7000 (generally same gun) and shoot to 200 yards with it. I get my magazines from Midway, but even they are out of stock right now. |

I have two stock 795s and got extra mags from Marlin. Mine have been 100% for over 10 years. Very good deal for around $120.00

It's a great rifle. I have a bunch of the 25 round magazines - they are nice.
Does anyone have any opinions on the aftermarket screw on pistol grip? |

Here's an interesting link for after-market up-grade replacement parts: http://www.diproductsinc.com/Products.aspx?CAT=3603

I don't see many stock options. I guess this firearm just has limited options there?
That's a pity. Thanks for the link nevertheless. |

Personally, I think it needs a classic Walnut stock as a factory option. I wish they would offer it as a remake of the Marlin 989 M2 carbine.
