How did you go from BCM to a base PSA?

Keep in mind that people will champion products and justify their own prior purchases in recommendations to others.

I hope you get what you want out of the PSA rifle but I wouldn't be surprised if it doesn't live up to expectations.

Thanks for the reply. I was considering the Colt 6920. Someone did suggest a BCM, but I had not really followed up on that, to be honest. I have read that sometimes PSA arms do not hold up as well, but also read that their AR15's are high quality. Thanks again!

My mistake. There's a couple of these threads running. I confused yours with another in which the OP was looking at a BCM.

Enjoy your rifle.

The PSA is a very good buy at $450... The Colt is a better rifle, but the PSA isn't too far behind.

I guess my question (and I know that it is a subjective question!) is, "Is the Colt $300 enter than the PSA?" I know that only I can answer that fo myself.

How much is that little pony on the lower worth to you? Apparently it was worth a $100 premium to me over a Springfield when I bought a 1911. If I had it to do again I would have gone with the Springfield.

A Colt will hold value better if that matters to you...

Here is the thing with PSA... If you see a deal you like, it is best not too wait too long. While it's not as bad as it was the past few years, where a sale item would be sold out in an hour... The sales still only last a limited time, or sell out after a day or two.

And the Colt is a better rifle... But does it matter to you?

Colt LE6920MPS-FDE

First of all, just wanted to say thanks to all of you who took the time to help me with this decision by responding to my questions. Actually narrowed my choices to the Colt and the SA Saint (I know, blasphemy to many!) but my son-in-law being a former Swat Team leader helped a lot in the process (not that I am saying that he let me shoot his department issued Colt) and when Whitaker Guns had them for $705 Sunday morning I decided that was the sign I was looking for. They were sold out by Sunday night, had the Saint listed for $679 instead, so a good thing I did not waste time. Ordered case from Amazon, hope to pick up the gun from FFL by the weekend and go shoot for first time!

Don't forget to come back and post a range report for those of us that like to know how these things turn out.
