Walther P99 QA - Heavy Trigger
Hello,
I find the QA trigger of the P99 to be excessively heavy. There is a post in the Walther Forums about modifying the weight of the trigger pull by changing the stock striker spring to that of a Wolff 4.5 Ibs Glock striker spring. This supposedly cuts the weight of the pull by 1/3. After 100 rounds, this becomes reliable. (But not at first.) Q: After the break-in period - is the weapon going to be as reliable as a stock weapon? Would you trust this gun for your regular CCW? If not - is there another way to lighten the trigger pull without affecting reliability? |
