Seekins vs Barrett

I have yet to find a direct comparison between these two rifles. I may be in the market for a higher end hunting bolt rifle.

Has anyone handled/shot one or preferably BOTH of these rifles? Going to be in .308 most likely. Slim chance i go with a Creed.

Barrett Fieldcraft

Seekins PH1

The full customs are a bit over budget. Both above can be had for less than 2k.

Thanks in advance!

Have you looked at the Sako 85 line (Finnlight if you're looking for lightweight)?

The sako's look and by reputation are great rifles.

I am troubled with the extremely limited and sometimes complicated multi-piece scope rings. For the money involved, I would expect a elegant and trim solution, preferable in the box. No way!

Disregard last post. I see you were speaking to the system on the 85 now. My mistake.

Two very different rifles, one is light weight the other is of average weight. Depending on what kind of hunting you do that might make the difference. I've only briefly handled the Barrett, it was pretty nice and well worth the look if you're wanting a light rifle.
