Rust on Rossi 92. Should I worry?
I was recently refinishing the wood on my 2 yr old Rossi 92 and as I slid the forearm wood off I noticed some dust that appeared to be rust come off with it. I've read some posts on the net about people finding rust from the wood on their Rossi's. If I put a good coating of Minwax Tung Oil Finish on the wood where it touches the metal am I good to go now or should I take other measures to protect my mag tube and barrel? I also put a good coating of CLP on the barrel and mag tube before replacing the stock.
