Value of a Winchester Model 1890

Helping a neighbor clean up his Winchester Model 1890 pump .22 short with an octagonal barrel. He believes it is some where around 100 years old and for it's age in very good condition only missing one screw on the side of the pump handle/grip. Serial #517*** What do you think it may be worth?

Any know where to buy a replacement screw?

Thanks

they had three models of that... this would be the third one because of serial number... excellent condition says 2,000 , very good says 1,400, good says 900, fair says 450, poor says 250

You can find the forearm screw here: http://www.homesteadfirearms.com/par...ester_1906.htm. Look on page 3. I've purchased parts from them for my 1906's and been satisfied.

According to ProofHouse.com, your friend's rifle was made in 1914. Those little guys are an absolute hoot to play with!
