You ended up with a very fine pistol. In a few months the extra money will not even matter anymore and you will have a firearm to be proud of and that you can count on in a pinch.

That almost puts tears in my eye to see somebody looking for a low price revolver, and finding a low priced revolver, but not as low as they wanted to go.

You got a great deal, on a great gun. To me that's a better deal than buying a cheaper revolver for half the price.

IMHO, your in the "I own a quality Gun" category.

Soon after I get my S&W 627 V-comp (if I get it, "order pending"), and my Ruger P95, I'm getting one of those, except in the 638 shrouded, sometime this early spring. I probably will only shoot reg .38 in it though, they are pretty light.

Good luck my owner of a good quality good buddy.

Colt Detective

Get the best of the best snubs and shoot 6 at the same time, about $400 but look around, mine was $287:

NEW J-frame S&W 642 was only 320.
Wow that's a very good price! They are considerably more expensive here. $350-$400.

I can get a Taurus 85 for around $350 here. Good little revolver too. A friend has one. Looks and shoots just as nicely as my S&W 642. Never had a single problem. My Taurus 94 shoots great too. Never a single problem.

You won't be disappointed. I love my 637. Congrats on a great gun.
