Does Anyone Own/Shoot the Pietta (EMF) 1862 NY Metro Police Pistol?
I know that Colt never made a 6 shot police model, however, the EMF pistol looks Sooo Goooood! It's based on the 1851 sized frame not the earlier 1847 31 caliber frame. It has a steel frame which would allow a later updated 1851 cartridge conversion if I feel the urge.
Anybody have one? Do you have problems with the fired caps jamming the action like the competitions 5 shot model based on the .31 frame? |

With Treso nipples, #10 Remington caps & filling the notch in the hammer, I've eliminated cap jams.
