Powder Sticking to the Hopper, Remedies?

I have a lee auto disk pro. The other day when I emptied the hopper back into the bottle, powder was stuck to the sides. I would imagine this is due to a small amount of static build up, on the plastic surface. What are some tips or tricks to getting it not to stick?

Same thing going on myself - bit o' powder clinging to the sides of the hopper. I figured it was from humidity as we had a couple of rather steamy days. I left it be.

I would guess that too, but I live in the desert.

The hopper is plastic, yes ? If so, then the cause is likely static electricity.

I've always addressed this, on my plastic reloading tools, by rubbing down the area in question with some gun powder, so as to sort of "dirty up" the plastic. This leaves a fine coating of dust-like powder residue, which seems to almost eliminate sticking of powder granules. At any rate, it works for me.

I rolled up a new dryer sheet and keep it in my hopper when I am not using it. -0- static cling.
Be sure to remove it before you pour the powder into the hopper. Would be kind of messy getting it out.

Wipe it down with powdered graphite.

Once you start building up some graphite in the hopper, don't wipe the inside with a dryer sheet. It just sets you back, again. Let the graphite build up inside, but wipe the outside with a dryer sheet, occasionally.

Noted, so far the hopper has only been loaded once, and I wiped it out with a paper towel to remove stuck powder. But after trying the dryer sheet before next time, I will avoid wiping it out.

I went through the same thing with my uniflow powder measurer and I did the dryer cloth remedy and it worked. I then ran about a pound of powder though it and I still get a little powder sticking but no where near as bad as when it was new.

I had the same problem when I started using my RCBS powder measure, but after using it some, it kind of broke in and the static disappeared. The graphite in the powder builds up in the measure, and things get much better.
