One thing I have learned over more than 30 years of reloading - if it does not fit your current cases, do not dump them. You might need them later when you have cases with smaller or larger primer pockets.

I don't like the humongous boxes they come in.

That's my only complaint.

But your complaint is not without merit.

I've done the same with brass. My 200 odd pieces of 308 came in handy finally after 10 years of collecting it inadvertently and never discarding it.

Perhaps 10mm, 32ACP, and .327 Fed will take the same course. Eventually.
