swift scirocco in 6.5 grendel
hello all, time for new years hunting load development. I am planning on working up a good load for 130gr swift sciroccos out of a 6.5 grendel. anyone used this particular combo? what were your results.

No experience with anything over 120gr, sorry.
Here is some 130gr data for ya. http://www.alexanderarms.com/images/..._reloading.pdf What are you hunting? with a 24 inch barrel, That 130gr Scirocco will be wide open just to reach 2400fps. I prefer 100gr TTSX for MN Whitetails at 2700fps. |

intention is to hunt elk. I already have a partition load worked up for the task but if I can work out something a little better I would feel a lot better about my chances. it is also a 20 inch barrel so I will likely max at 2300 if I'm very lucky.
