What are the most accurate centerfire factory pistol or pistols you ever shot.

Having owned in excess of 100, yes 100 pistols, outside of individually built custom guns, I have gone through my range binder and here are my top 3.

#1: S&W performance center Shorty Forty, 40S&W of course. This gun shoots ragged hole 5-10 shot groups with so many different loads at 25 yards its sickening, been 100% reliable and what a trigger.

#2: Early Sig P220 38 super made in Germany. Shot ragged holes with many reloads.

#3: CZ75 PCR 9mm, another ragged hole shooter, have 4 CZ's and they are all VERY accurate 2-9mm's 1-PCR and 1-CZ75, CZ75 40S&W and CZ97 45acp

Honorable mention, newly aquired Springfield XDm in 40S&W, what an accurate gun, may replace number 3. Also have a S&W 3913 9mm thats a tack driver.

Funny, some of the least expected guns shoot like, and perform like $2000.00 custom built guns.

I just bought a DW Pointman 9 that I shoot very accurately, it moved the CZ P01 to second.

Les Baer Premier II 6" .45acp...absolute tack driver, wonderful trigger and little recoil with the extra inch out front.

Very hard to beat a stock Premier II 5" for accuracy and features for the price.
Every part is fitted to the pistol as it is built..beginning with the slide to the frame. American craftsmanship at its best !

SIG p220. The most accurate pistol I have ever fired. And that is out of the case with no modifications. DA/SA, but the accuracy really shows once it is in SA mode.

my nephew has a pinned bbl mdl 28 S&W .357 that is perhaps the most accurate .357 I've shot.
a shooting buddy has a Ruger SBH .44 Mag that consistently hit a soccer ball size target at 100 yds off-hand.
another buddy had a CZ 75 that was the best 9mm I've shot.
my 5906 isn't far behind it.
my slab-side Mk .22 shoots as good if not better than any .22 pistol I've shot (custom trigger and polished bore)

My AR-24 was breaking clay pigeon fragments at 30yds last time I had it out.

The most accurate I've ever shot was a vintage Browning Hi-Power with an extended threaded barrel w/compensator. It was my friend's mom's piece, and I borrowed it in high school for pistol matches. I usually got the 30yd "bonus" plate with a single round. I usually shot all "A" zone with it

My M&P 9 compact gets an honorable mention. I kept all 12 on an 8.5"x11" sheet of printer paper at 65yds once. Shot from kneeling. Not bad for a short barrel and pinky finger curled under the grip!

Colt Python in .357 and the Rock Island 1911A2 in .45. Both have been accurate for me.

Of those I personally own or have shot at the range through the years, here are a few:

1. T/C Contender Super 14 in 7-30 Waters = sub MOA out to 250 yds.

2. Ruger Redhawk 7 1/2" .41 Rem. Mag. = 1 1/2" @ 50 yds. on a sandbag.

3. Colt Gold Cup Match ($895 in 1983) = one big hole @ 25 , very scary trigger.

4. S&W 1911 ($1500) = 2 1/2" @ 25 all day, super factory trigger.

5. Stock Glock 21 = 10 200 gr. Speer Lawman went into one hole @ 50 ft.

6. Ruger MkII Government Target /w 2-7X Burris = One hole @ 25 yards.

The FN Five-Seven is pretty accurate, but even it is put to shame by my HK USP Elite. It is spooky accurate.

I had a S&W 5906 that was absolutely a tatackdriver. Despitr thr relatively short sight radius it has been my most accurate pistol. My 92F is pretty good, and so is my Hi power. I've only owned about 20 handguns, but those have been the best so far.

My 9mm HK P7M8 and USP Tactical .45 are exceptionally accurate. Then there is my Belgium made Browning Challenger .22LR. It's in a league of its own.

I had a bicentennial Blackhawk in .357 once upon a time... Pop cans at 30 yards were a cinch. My XD-m is accurate as heck when i can keep from pulling right with my trigger finger. I'll work on that...

My most accurate pistol to date is my S&W 22A.
