Help with illinois foid app.Question??????
on the illinois foid app. does a mental health facility includ a rehab center.? who knows in this state?

Was your rehab within the last 5 years ? If so, you might be a prohibited possessor in teh state of Illinois. There is a lot of conjecture online about this. The only way to be sure is to call the Illinois State Police and ask them.
Don't try to pull their leg, Illinois gives full access to mental health "prohibited persons" to the ISP databases. That includes involuntary holds for evaluation (5 year IL prohibition from arms), involuntary committals (lifetime prohibition federal), and I believe drug rehab. Give them a ring. |

got my Foid with no problems .. I was worried for no reason.. Rehabs do not apply in FOID issues .. I thank everyone for their help and I hope this helps others....thx again!
