Osprey scopes

Does anyone have any knowledge on the scopes. I am thinking of buying one for my contender and I dont want to throw money away. Here is the one I was looking at.

I picked one out for Christmas and the wife ordered it before I had a chance to finish "suggesting gifts." After doing some research at various websites and boards like this, I found that they weren't view very favorably by many people. When mine arrived, it didn't have complete instructions on how to set up the and use the BDC and adjustable paralax. I went to their website and sent them an e-mail looking for the instructions and the email got bounced back as an undeliverable address. I sent it back and ordered something else because if their website doesn't even have the proper email, what will their customer service be like if I need them.

Not on their scopes but did buy a Panoramic type open Red dot and it turned out to be junk. One of the lenses came off at the range while shooting a .22 rifle. Don't get me wrong, I do own what others might consider cheap scopes but won't take a chance on these :barf:
