ASM Colt Hartford Model..Generation Copy???

I purchased this asm colt hartford clone on an auction. Notice the cylinder screw is located under the frame. A second generation colt also for sale, showed the screw on the side of the frame. Anyone familiar with what generation this maybe or is it just because asm made them that way. This a 1994 model, never been fired. The pic doesn't do it justice. The bluing is beautiful. and the case hardening is very nice.
The third pic is a second generation real colt.

The ASM is a clone of the "black powder frame" used until 1896 when the spring loaded cylinder latch was introduced.
