I'd say it was the .30 Kurz - 7.92X33mm Kurz.

My guess is 30 BR. But it could be 7.92X33mm (8mm Kurz).

I'll go with the 8mm short. What does the headstamp say?

8mm Kurtz would be my first guess, .300 Wisper would be my second. What caliber/mm does the bullet mic out too? What's the length of the case(33mm woudl make it a 8mmK) and what does the headstamp say?

300 Whisper is a 30 cal bullet in a 223 case. The head size of the center cartridge looks like standard size, and it has too much shoulder for a 300 Whisper.

That is not a loaded round, is it? The bullet is too far down the neck and no holding crimp.

On all accounts it looks like an 8mm bullet pushed into a fired 33mm case, but more than that I can not venture.
